Cycling the NC500 in Scotland

The North Coast 500 is acclaimed as one of the most scenic cycle routes in the world. The circuit starts and finishes in the Highlands city of Inverness and extends some 516 miles through a frequently fabulous and breath-taking landscape.

We have devised our version of a self-guided NC500 route to ensure you enjoy the quietest roads possible. Our "Best of the North" route avoids the A9 and brings cyclists south via Altnaharra, Lairg, into Tain and on to the Nigg ferry to the Black Isle.

If you are still want to ride the official North Coast 500, we are happy to accommodate this, but once you have cycled Dornoch Firth bridge, we then direct you to Edderton to reach Inverness.

We offer cycling holiday packages with accommodation and baggage transfers included. Where possible we will meet you each day with spare kit, food and water etc. You can choose a package to suit your fitness and aspirations. Why not include rest days and days when you get off the bike to do another activity? Our two most popular packages are 5 days, 7 days and 10 days of cycling.

To book, simply choose your self-guided NC500 cycling package. We are always happy to discuss alternative ideas for a bespoke trip.
